Job Overview
A law firm seeks a junior/mid-level Corporate Associate to join its team in San Diego, California. The ideal candidate will have experience with start-ups, emerging growth companies, venture capital financings, and mergers & acquisitions.

Duties

  • Advise early-stage entrepreneurs on corporate matters.
  • Represent companies and venture funds in financing rounds and M&A transactions.
  • Engage in significant client contact, including interactions with CEOs and Boards of Directors.

Requirements

  • JD degree obtained between 2022 and 2024.
  • Previous experience in a large law firm setting.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • State Bar of California admission.

Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
