Duties

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, including transportation and vendor agreements.
• Advise clients on contract terms and business operations implications.
• Research legal issues related to transportation law and provide analysis.
• Oversee insurance coverage issues and develop risk management strategies.
• Assist in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and sales.
• Draft and respond to demand letters.
• Support regulatory compliance audits and investigations.
• Manage high client volume and workload responsibly.

Requirements

• 3-6 years' experience in corporate and employment law preferred.
• Familiarity with federal or state administrative actions and judicial procedure.
• Experience in transportation, employment, or mergers and acquisition law is a plus.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the State of Florida Bar required.

Certifications

• Florida Bar admission (out-of-state attorneys considered if intending to take the Florida Bar within 6 months).
