Transportation Litigation Attorney

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a proactive and highly skilled Transportation Litigation Attorney in Madison, New Jersey. This role involves representing a large international logistics services provider, handling litigation matters within the transportation sector, and understanding applicable regulations. The position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement.

Duties

• Manage a litigation caseload under senior attorney supervision.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on transportation laws and regulations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices.
• Draft case analysis reports for client stakeholders.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey.
• 3-8 years of general casualty litigation experience.
• Transportation and logistics regulatory experience preferred.
• Experience with e-commerce/gig economy legal issues preferred.
• Deposition and motion practice experience required.
• Trial experience preferred.

Education

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
