Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Associate Attorney in Washington, DC, with 3 to 5 years of litigation experience. This role involves complex antitrust and consumer/civil litigation, including class actions and multi-party matters. The candidate will manage significant case aspects and collaborate with senior attorneys.

Duties

  • Take and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
  • Draft and argue substantive motions, including motions to dismiss and summary judgment motions.
  • Manage written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests for production.
  • Coordinate with co-counsel, experts, and opposing counsel.
  • Assist with case strategy, fact development, and trial preparation.
  • Manage a docket of active complex litigation matters with senior oversight.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in antitrust or consumer/civil litigation.
  • Active admission to any U.S. State Bar.
  • Experience handling substantive litigation responsibilities.

Education

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active admission to any U.S. State Bar.

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
