A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in cybersecurity, data privacy, cyber-related transactions, cryptocurrency, and artificial intelligence is seeking a highly experienced Partner-level Cybersecurity / Privacy Attorney. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and expand the firm's cybersecurity and privacy practice.
  • Provide clients with expert legal advice and representation on complex cybersecurity, data privacy, and related transactions.
  • Advise clients on compliance with cybersecurity and privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant laws.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies for data breach response, cybersecurity policies, and privacy programs.
  • Lead and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff within the cybersecurity and privacy practice group.
  • Stay current with cybersecurity, data privacy, and technology trends to provide the most effective legal strategies.
  • Collaborate with other partners and practice groups to leverage the firm’s full capabilities for client benefit.
  • Represent clients in cybersecurity litigation, regulatory investigations, and negotiations.
  • Advise clients on the legal aspects of emerging technologies, including cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships through exceptional service and strategic legal counsel.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity and privacy law.
  • Proven track record of managing complex cybersecurity and data privacy matters.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in cybersecurity or privacy law.
  • Experience in high-stakes cybersecurity litigation and regulatory compliance.
  • Established network within the cybersecurity and privacy industry.
  • Knowledge of cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence legal issues.
