Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly accomplished Real Estate Partner to join their office in Coral Gables, FL. This role offers a strategic opportunity for a seasoned legal professional to integrate into a well-established real estate practice. The position requires a strong command of commercial real estate law and an established client base, contributing at a senior level to the firm's success.

Duties

  • Lead sophisticated commercial real estate transactions involving various property types from acquisition to disposition.
  • Structure and negotiate complex leasing arrangements for landlords and tenants.
  • Advise clients on real estate financing, including loan transactions and foreclosures.
  • Counsel clients on contract enforcement and strategic real estate planning across Florida and Latin America.
  • Draft condominium and master property owner declarations and related documents.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on legal strategy and client development.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Florida.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership capabilities.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Familiarity with NetDocuments, AIM, LexisNexis, Westlaw, and iCONECT preferred.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to practice in Florida.

Skills

  • Strong command of commercial real estate law.
  • Ability to lead complex transactions.
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools preferred.
