Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Tax Equity Associate in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will possess significant transactional experience in tax equity financing and related agreements, contributing to the firm's dynamic legal team.

Duties

  • Negotiate and prepare equity capital contribution agreements.
  • Draft membership interest purchase agreements and LLC agreements.
  • Handle tax credit purchase agreements and related documents.
  • Conduct due diligence on key project agreements, including offtake and EPC contracts.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in tax equity financing and related transactions.
  • Proficiency in negotiating and preparing complex legal documents.
  • Experience in reviewing project agreements and conducting due diligence.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
