Entry Level Immigration Attorney

Duties

• Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court.
• Prepare and file applications with USCIS, the Immigration Court, and BIA.
• Prepare and file motions, memos, and briefs to the Immigration Court and BIA.
• Appear at bond hearings, master calendar hearings, and individual merits hearings.
• Communicate directly and regularly with clients throughout their cases.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar license in good standing in any U.S. state (Virginia or Maryland preferred).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required); additional languages a plus.
• Prior immigration experience helpful but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctorate or LLM (Required).
