Attorney - General Liability and Workers' Compensation

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an attorney with 1-4 years of experience in General Liability and/or Workers' Compensation for their office in Allentown, PA. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills, with a preference for those with deposition, mediation, and courtroom experience. The ability to independently manage a litigation caseload and work well within a team is essential.

Duties

• Manage cases from inception to post-trial.
• Communicate with clients to keep them updated on case status.
• Make court appearances and participate in mediation.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare, review, and respond to discovery.
• Conduct research as required by each case.
• Conduct direct and cross-examination of expert witnesses at trial and depositions.
• Meet billing requirements.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in General Liability and/or Workers' Compensation.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently.
• Strong positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Skills

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with depositions, mediation, and courtroom proceedings preferred.
