Job Overview
A law firm seeks a highly motivated associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group in Denver, CO. The successful candidate will support the Financial Services Team in various finance transactions and provide practical, solution-oriented support throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Duties

  • Support a wide range of equipment finance transactions, including drafting and reviewing loan documents, leases, and amendments.
  • Assist with local counsel opinions, ensuring accuracy and consistency across opinion packages.
  • Conduct due diligence, including reviewing organizational documents and closing checklists.
  • Manage and track transaction details to ensure timely and accurate closings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
  • Take initiative to anticipate deal needs throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in equipment finance, asset-based lending, or commercial finance.
  • Strong drafting skills and experience handling multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working with a high level of autonomy.
  • Admitted to practice, or eligible for admission, in the jurisdiction corresponding to the office location.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
