Duties

• Manage a broad caseload of insurance defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, and liability claims

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial proceedings

• Provide strategic legal guidance and counsel to clients throughout case development

• Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement effective litigation strategies

• Remain informed on current laws, legal trends, and regulations impacting insurance defense practice

Requirements

• 5–10 years of litigation experience in insurance defense

• Demonstrated trial experience

• Strong multitasking ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

• High level of ethical standards and professionalism

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar
