Description:
A specialized regulatory law firm based in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Mid-Level Associate with experience in aviation, transportation, or general regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:

  • Work on regulatory matters before federal agencies such as the DOT, FAA, FTC, and FCC.
  • Provide compliance counseling to corporate clients and government entities.
  • Assist in drafting legal opinions, agency comments, and regulatory filings.
  • Conduct research and analysis of federal and international regulatory policies.
  • Engage with clients and regulators on emerging industry issues.

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of experience in a regulatory practice area at a law firm, government agency, or corporate legal department.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation, transportation, or administrative law.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience appearing before regulatory agencies is a plus.
