Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Protection Attorney to join its practice in Detroit, Michigan. The attorney will manage a substantial and intricate caseload, providing expert legal services in personal injury protection matters.

Duties

  • Handle cases on a day-to-day basis
  • Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
  • Guide clients through the legal process
  • Interact with expert witnesses, including drafting reports and affidavits
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

Requirements

  • Law degree from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with the Michigan State Bar Association
  • Minimum of 3 years of personal injury experience
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases
  • Excellent client service and communication skills
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
  • Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
