Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Patents Counsel with a focus on electrical engineering to join its team in Los Angeles, CA. Duties

  • Manage patent prosecution for 5G, Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies.
  • Develop and manage client portfolios.
  • Collaborate with clients on patent strategy and innovation.

Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of patent prosecution experience.
  • Registered with the USPTO or eligible to register.
  • Admitted to and in good standing with the Bar, or eligible to waive in.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Education

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Certifications

  • Registered with the United States Patent Trademark Office (USPTO).

Skills

  • Experience in 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end.
  • Preferred experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, and related AI fields.
