Associate Attorney - Workers' Compensation

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with one to four years of litigation experience to join its Workers' Compensation Department in Roseland, New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to litigate a variety of workers' compensation claims involving high-exposure, complex litigation across numerous industries.

Duties

• Litigate workers' compensation claims involving repetitive trauma, occupational disease, and other complex issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative defense strategies.
• Engage in legal research and writing to support case development.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in workers' compensation.
• Strong analytical, writing, and research skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Desire to advance within the firm and assist others in doing the same.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Bar in New Jersey.
