Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate to join its team in New York. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. The role offers the opportunity to lead smaller transactions and support larger ones, depending on seniority.

Duties

• Lead smaller real estate transactions independently.
• Support larger transactions as a second chair.
• Draft and review legal documents related to real estate deals.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of commercial real estate experience.
• Experience in joint ventures is a plus.
• Strong drafting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills

• Excellent legal drafting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
