Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney for its Dallas, Texas office. The firm is expanding its defense litigation practice and invites motivated attorneys with at least three years of experience in hospitality, premises liability, general liability, business/commercial, or related insurance matters to join their team.

Duties

• Manage all phases of complex litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Conduct and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions, and assist in trials in state and federal courts.
• Handle cases from inception through resolution, ensuring effective case development and client communication.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in defense litigation matters, preferably in hospitality, premises, or general liability.
• Trial and arbitration experience preferred.
• Experience in federal and state courts.
• Admitted to practice in Texas.
• Based in Dallas preferred, with ability to attend meetings and court appearances throughout Texas.

Education

• JD from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Texas.
