Duties

  • Provide legal counsel to clients, explaining legal processes and potential outcomes.
  • Build strong attorney-client relationships based on transparency and integrity.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including discovery, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel and insurance companies to secure favorable settlements.
  • Prepare for and attend trials.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff for efficient case progress.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Active license in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
  • Minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred, but not required.

Education

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license with the State Bar of Texas.
