Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Real Estate Group in Harrisburg, PA. The successful candidate will work on meaningful matters, building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional legal services in the realm of commercial real estate law.

Duties

  • Take ownership of assigned cases from start to finish, developing strategies for successful outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide well-informed advice.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress and next steps.
  • Represent clients effectively in negotiations to achieve favorable resolutions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues across practice areas.
  • Uphold professional conduct and adhere to state bar requirements and firm policies.
  • Assist in financial management of cases, including setting retainers and managing payment schedules.
  • Stay current with legal developments and complete required Continuing Legal Education (CLE).

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
  • 2-5 years of real estate experience, including planned community experience.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and detail-oriented individual.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
