Medical Malpractice Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney in Washington, District of Columbia. The attorney will manage a complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, joining a well-established practice group.

Duties

• Handle medical malpractice cases from intake to resolution, including trial.
• Draft and file litigation documents such as pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft expert reports.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association.
• Minimum 5+ years of medical malpractice experience, preferably Plaintiff.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active membership with the FL State Bar Association.
