Litigation Associate, Consumer Products, Mid-Level to Senior

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-to-senior level litigation associate to join its Consumer Products practice in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have five to eight years of litigation experience, primarily representing consumer product companies in matters related to California Proposition 65 and consumer class actions.

Duties

• Represent consumer product companies in responding to private plaintiff demand letters and government inquiries.
• Assist in litigating consumer class actions involving false advertising and regulatory non-compliance.
• Work directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with a global team of subject-matter specialists.

Requirements

• Five to eight years of litigation experience.
• Experience with FTC, NAD, FDCA, CPSC, slack fill, and greenwashing is a plus.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence.
• Membership to the California Bar or eligibility to waive in.

Education

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• California Bar membership or eligibility to waive in.

Skills

• Comfortable interacting directly with clients.
