Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join the Secondary Markets group within the Public Finance practice in Omaha, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will develop their expertise in transactional matters involving municipal, asset-backed, and corporate securities, collaborating with experienced partners.

Duties

  • Research federal and state laws, including securities and lending regulations.
  • Prepare and review transaction documents such as trust indentures and loan agreements.
  • Draft and assess underwriting documents, including offering and purchase agreements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and transaction parties.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in public finance, real estate, lending, or corporate finance.
  • Currently admitted to practice with an active Nebraska bar license or eligible within one year.
  • Strong academic record.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active Nebraska bar license or eligibility for admission within one year.
