Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time Divorce, Marital & Family Law Attorney in Naples. The attorney will manage a diverse caseload, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division, while working closely with clients to develop legal strategies and represent their interests in court.

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in family law cases.
  • Draft and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, and agreements.
  • Conduct client consultations and develop case strategies.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and case law.
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate and organized records.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to provide comprehensive legal services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of family law experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Florida family law statutes, rules, and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Membership in The Florida Bar in good standing.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.
