Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Privacy and Cyber Litigation Associate to join their team in any of their office locations. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of significant litigation and case management experience.

Duties

  • Manage day-to-day case activities.
  • Lead fact investigations.
  • Research legal issues and develop litigation strategies.
  • Draft pleadings, including answers, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel.

Requirements

  • Excellent academic and professional credentials.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing client relationships.
  • Federal clerkship experience preferred.
  • Experience with Fair Credit Reporting Act or other privacy-related statutes is a plus.
  • Ability to deliver smaller projects with limited supervision.
  • Confidently manage workflow for larger projects.
  • Good standing in the state where they wish to practice.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of practice.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
