Litigation Senior Attorney - M&A

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Attorney to join its Litigation group, Business and Commercial subgroup in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in M&A post-closing indemnity disputes and representations and warranty insurance disputes.

Duties

• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and business professionals.
• Produce deliverables and respond to correspondence efficiently.
• Provide timely and accurate work products.
• Meet deadlines and perform required duties.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as needed.
• Manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years' experience in relevant M&A disputes.
• Experience with M&A transaction documentation and damages calculations.
• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in legal research and documentation.
