Job Overview:
A law firm in Boston is seeking experienced Litigation Associates to join its growing litigation practice. This role involves representing clients in commercial disputes and handling all phases of litigation in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters
  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents
  • Manage all phases of discovery, including e-discovery processes
  • Collect and review evidence in support of litigation strategy
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Attend hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials
  • Coordinate and supervise outside experts and consultants
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state, local, and federal litigation requirements
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on case strategy and client service

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of law firm experience with commercial litigation matters preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures and legal terminology
  • Ability to manage matters independently and work collaboratively within teams
  • Strong client relationship and communication abilities
  • Admission in Massachusetts preferred; admission in New Hampshire or other New England jurisdictions is a plus

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction(s)
