Attorney - General Liability

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an attorney specializing in General Liability for their Lebanon, NJ office. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in General Liability litigation and possess excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills. Deposition, mediation, and courtroom experience are highly preferred. The candidate should be able to independently manage a litigation caseload and work effectively within a team.

Duties

• Manage cases from inception to post-trial.
• Communicate with clients to keep them updated on case status.
• Make court appearances and participate in mediation.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare, review, and respond to discovery.
• Conduct research as required by each case.
• Conduct direct and cross-examination of expert witnesses at trial and in depositions.
• Meet billing requirements.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of General Liability litigation experience.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently.
• Strong positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.

Skills

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with depositions, mediations, and courtroom proceedings preferred.
