Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Securitization Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join their team in Boston. The role involves working on complex securitization transactions with a diverse range of clients.

Duties

  • Assist with structuring, negotiation, and documentation of securitization transactions, including CLOs and whole business securitizations.
  • Conduct due diligence and review legal documents related to securitization transactions.
  • Research and analyze legal issues related to securitization transactions.
  • Prepare and review offering materials and disclosure documents.
  • Collaborate with clients and attorneys from various disciplines to provide comprehensive legal advice.
  • Assist with training and mentoring junior associates.
  • Stay updated with regulatory developments and industry trends in securitization.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience at a large or global law firm in structured finance and securitization transactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong academic record.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to, and a member in good standing of, the Massachusetts Bar.

Skills

  • Analytical and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
