Structured Credit & Collateralized Loan Obligations Associate

Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking an associate with 3+ years of substantial experience in securitization and structured finance, or candidates with transactional experience and a strong desire to work in the Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO) space. Location:

• Boston, MA

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on securitization and structured finance transactions

• Advise clients on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs)

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents

• Collaborate with global financial institutions, asset managers, and investors

• Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Support clients in the execution of financial transactions

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in securitization, structured finance, or related areas

• Strong understanding of private credit, CLOs, fund finance, NAV-based facilities, or subscription line credit facilities preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial transactions

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Excellent academic credentials

Certifications:

• Admission to the state bar in good standing (New York or ability to obtain admission)

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
