Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for its office in Costa Mesa, California. This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing one day of remote work after a probationary period. Duties

• Review and adjust immigration applications and packets.
• Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.
• Meet with clients to gather documents and guide them through visa processes.
• Use case management systems to monitor case milestones and meet deadlines.
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all legal work products.
• Prepare and represent clients at government interviews.
• Perform other tasks as required to meet client and firm needs.

Requirements

• Completion of a Juris Doctorate program at an accredited U.S. law school.
• Admission to a U.S. state bar.
• One year of experience in employment immigration law.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent writing skills.
• A second language is preferred but not required.

Education
