Job Overview

A law firm seeks a healthcare regulatory associate for its Houston, TX office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory matters, including laws and regulations related to healthcare providers, administrative litigation, payor disputes, and investigations.

Duties

  • Handle healthcare regulatory matters and related legal issues.
  • Engage in administrative litigation and manage payor disputes.
  • Conduct investigations and provide legal advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with partners, senior counsel, and associates.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory matters.
  • Strong communication and client interfacing skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong writing skills.
  • Ability to work in the Houston, TX office at least three days per week.
  • Licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in Texas.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Texas Bar.
