Transactional Associate Attorney

A law firm in Houston, TX, is actively seeking a Transactional Associate Attorney with 1-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate should preferably bring a book of business and must be licensed in Texas. This role involves providing legal counsel and support in transactional matters, contributing to the firm's success and client satisfaction.

Duties:

• Draft and review legal documents related to business transactions, including contracts, agreements, and corporate documents.
• Conduct due diligence and research on legal matters affecting transactions.
• Provide legal advice to clients on business and corporate law issues.
• Collaborate with clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand business objectives.
• Negotiate and facilitate the closing of transactions.
• Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
• 1-6 years of experience in transactional law.
• Preferably bring a book of business.
• Strong understanding of business and corporate law.
