A law firm seeks a Mergers & Acquisitions Resource Attorney in San Francisco. This role supports the M&A practice group by enhancing the efficiency and knowledge of practicing attorneys. The position involves managing resources, drafting documents, and staying updated on legal developments without direct client interaction.

Duties

  • Manage transaction database by inputting and auditing deal terms.
  • Draft and manage forms and precedents for the M&A group.
  • Monitor legal developments and prepare updates for practice resources.
  • Coordinate legal education content for associate and firmwide training.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop M&A promotional content.
  • Assist attorneys with requests for precedents and templates.
  • Participate in resource and practice innovation projects.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

  • Licensed attorney with at least 4 years of experience in US M&A corporate/transactional practice.
  • Understanding of public and private M&A, corporate governance, and market trends.
  • Strong drafting and organizational skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the United States.
