A law firm seeks a Partner-level Matrimonial and Family Law Attorney to join its Connecticut practice in Greenwich, CT. The role involves collaboration across multiple offices, offering opportunities for practice growth and leadership within the firm.

Duties

  • Represent clients in complex matrimonial and family law matters, including divorces and custody disputes.
  • Handle high-net-worth divorce cases involving financial distribution and support issues.
  • Draft and negotiate prenuptial, postnuptial, and cohabitation agreements.
  • Serve as lead counsel in negotiations, mediations, and litigation, including trials and appeals.
  • Maintain and expand a portable book of business and develop new client relationships.
  • Collaborate with other practice groups to provide comprehensive client representation.
  • Meet billable expectations and contribute to practice group and firm growth.
  • Participate in mentoring, business development, and leadership activities.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Connecticut Bar and in good standing; New York admission is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in matrimonial and family law.
  • Established portable book of business and collected originations.
  • Strong professional reputation for excellence and client advocacy.
  • Excellent courtroom presence and negotiation skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Connecticut Bar.
