Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Criminal Law Associate Attorney in Brevard, NC. The ideal candidate will passionately represent clients facing challenging legal situations. This role involves working within the Criminal Law Practice Area Group, serving clients in Rutherford County and western North Carolina.

Duties

• Conduct new client consultations.
• Attend court, mediations, and depositions.
• Research and prepare cases for court.
• Participate in case reviews and team trainings.
• Communicate with clients in person, by phone, virtually, and in writing.
• Manage a high volume of cases from start to finish.

Requirements

• Licensed member of the North Carolina Bar, in good standing.
• Previous law firm and litigation experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• North Carolina Bar membership.
