Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time partnership-track associate for its Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in bank mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, or bank corporate governance. Additional experience in bank operations, financial services technology contracting, or FinTech is preferred.

Duties

  • Assist with bank mergers and acquisitions.
  • Support capital raising activities.
  • Advise on bank corporate governance.
  • Engage in financial services technology contracting.
  • Contribute to financial services product development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong academic record and analytical skills.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • D.C. or Texas bar membership preferred, required within one year.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar membership in D.C. or Texas preferred.

  • Proficiency in bank mergers and acquisitions.

  • Understanding of regulatory issues in financial services.
