Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their team in Texas. This fully remote position involves handling complex plaintiff personal injury cases with the support of a seasoned legal team. The firm prioritizes excellent client representation over business generation or billable hour requirements.

Duties

• Handle plaintiff personal injury cases through litigation and resolution.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct depositions and attend mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Prepare cases for trial, including working with expert witnesses when needed.
• Keep clients informed throughout their case and provide excellent client service.
• Work closely with paralegals and support staff to move cases forward efficiently.

Requirements

• Active Texas Bar license.
• At least 5 years of litigation experience in plaintiff personal injury.
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, motion practice, and mediation.
• Trial experience is a strong plus.
• Strong writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple cases.
• Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Active Texas Bar license.
