Job Overview:
A nationally recognized plaintiffs’ law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to support its growing mass tort, class action, and personal injury docket. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic legal team handling high-profile, multi-jurisdictional matters on behalf of individual clients and large plaintiff groups. This position requires strong litigation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex legal proceedings across state and federal courts. The role is based in Phoenix, Arizona, with a collaborative team located in a modern office setting.

Location:

  • Alisio Viejo, CA

Duties:

  • Share responsibility for litigating tort cases involving hundreds of clients across U.S. state and federal courts

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other litigation documents

  • Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to requests, managing documents, and taking depositions

  • Participate in case strategy meetings and provide input on litigation planning and execution

  • Represent clients at court hearings, mediations, and potential trials

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and ensure proper case updates

  • Collaborate with team members across departments, including paralegals and support staff

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience

  • Strong understanding of personal injury and/or product liability litigation preferred

  • Proven ability to manage responsibilities independently while also working as part of a collaborative team

  • Commitment to ethical practice and compliance with professional responsibility rules

  • Willingness to undergo background screening and E-Verify as part of onboarding

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the bar in the state of Arizona (or ability to obtain admission)

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills

  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy abilities

  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • High level of critical thinking and attention to detail

  • Adaptability in managing evolving litigation priorities

  • Ability to interact professionally with clients, co-counsel, and court personnel
