Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Defense Litigation Associate Attorney in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, team-oriented environment.

Duties

  • Provide comprehensive litigation support, including trial preparation.
  • Develop defense strategies and manage discovery planning and responses.
  • Engage in motion work and attend depositions.
  • Make court appearances as required.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of litigation experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in medical malpractice or products liability litigation preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
