Duties

• Develop claims and draft pleadings.
• Conduct legal research and draft various documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Argue motions and participate in mediations.
• Lead and mentor junior attorneys and legal assistants.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel and participate in hearings, conferences, trials, and appeals.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation or class actions.
• Strong writing skills and experience in discovery.
• Passion for justice and learning.
• Ability to take ownership of cases and work collaboratively.
• Membership in the Tennessee bar or eligibility for admission.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
