Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced attorney with a focus on eminent domain to join their Trial and Litigation Practice Group in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of public entity-related land acquisition issues throughout California.

Duties

  • Engage in law and motion practice, including dispositive motions.
  • Build cases for trial by developing evidence and interviewing witnesses.
  • Take and defend depositions effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • Seven or more years of legal experience.
  • Strong analytical and creative thinking skills.
  • Proven research and writing capabilities.
  • Experience in eminent domain or real estate preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
