Associate needed for Miami office

Job Overview:

Duties:

• Take and defend depositions in commercial litigation cases.
• Draft key litigation documents such as pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
• Assist in trial preparation, including developing case strategies.
• Participate in hearings, case management conferences, and motion practice.
• Provide support in all stages of the litigation process, from pre-trial to post-trial.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and trial presentations.

Requirements:

• Experience in commercial litigation, with expertise in discovery, depositions, and document management.
• In-court experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bar admission in the jurisdiction of the office or eligibility to promptly obtain admission.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in the jurisdiction of interest or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Skills:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Strong litigation research and analytical skills.
• Proficient in managing discovery and conducting document review.
• Experience drafting pleadings and other litigation-related documents.
