Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate to join the Capital Markets practice group in Des Moines, IA. Exceptional candidates may be considered for remote work in other markets. The team represents issuers, investment banks, and investors in various transactions, providing regulatory compliance and advisory services.

Duties

• Advise on securities law and capital markets transactions.
• Draft registration statements and offering documents.
• Manage transactions and lead due diligence teams.
• Provide expertise in public securities offerings and corporate governance.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in securities law and capital markets.
• Experience at a large firm with public securities offerings.
• Familiarity with IPOs, registered direct offerings, and PIPEs.
• Excellent writing skills and superior academic credentials.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
