Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Associate Attorney with three to five years of litigation experience to join its Phoenix, AZ office. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial litigation, including antitrust, consumer fraud, and insurance coverage disputes. Exposure to complex class actions is advantageous but not mandatory.

Duties

• Manage pleadings, motions, and briefing on complex matters.
• Exhibit superior legal writing skills and attention to detail.
• Handle e-discovery and fact development proficiently.
• Lead team members in motion practice and discovery.
• Address complex fact, legal, and logistical issues with foresight.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear in state and federal court on motions and pre-trial matters.
• Strategically and analytically address client challenges.

Requirements

• Three to five years of litigation experience.
• Ability to handle sophisticated litigation work at a national level.
• Active license to practice in Arizona.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Arizona Bar membership.
