A law firm seeks an experienced public law attorney to join its office in  Indian Wells. This role involves working on complex transactions and providing legal support to cities, special districts, joint powers authorities, and water districts.

Duties

• Work on complex transactions involving public agencies.
• Provide legal support to cities and special districts.
• Advise on land use and planning matters.
• Attend public meetings and collaborate with public agency staff.
• Review and draft contracts for public entities.
• Provide guidance on the Brown Act, Public Records Act, and conflicts of interest.

Requirements

• Admitted to the California Bar.
• Experience in public agency law.
• Advanced writing and research skills.
• Experience working with local elected officials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar License.
