A law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Associate in Costa Mesa, CA, to join its bankruptcy and creditor's rights practice group. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative environment, supporting institutional clients with commercial loans.

Duties

• Document and enforce commercial loans for institutional clients.
• Conduct due diligence and manage UCC filings.
• Engage in debtor/creditor work and secured transactions.
• Negotiate and document sophisticated lending transactions.
• Handle broader bankruptcy matters, including court familiarity.

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Admission to practice law in California.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.

Skills

• Proficiency in documenting and enforcing commercial loans.
• Strong negotiation and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with bankruptcy court procedures.
