A law firm seeks a Mid-Level to Senior Patent Agent to join their team in Boston, MA, or work remotely supporting the Boston office. The role involves providing patent prosecution services in software and electronics IP across various industries.

Duties

  • Conduct patent prosecution for software and electronics IP.
  • Collaborate with clients across diverse industries.
  • Engage in U.S. and foreign patent prosecution processes.
  • Contribute to patent litigation as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of patent agent experience.
  • Registration with the USPTO.
  • Familiarity with software and electronics; health and medicine experience is a plus.
  • Prior firm experience preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent.

Certifications

  • USPTO registration.
