Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a skilled Workers' Compensation Attorney to join a growing team. This is a full-time position offering flexible work arrangements, including the option to work remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution. This role requires a proactive attorney who can manage a caseload independently and collaborate with clients, insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators.

Location: San Diego, CA

Duties:

  • Manage the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from start to finish, including discovery, litigation, and final resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators to handle cases.
  • Perform legal research, draft motions, and prepare legal documents as necessary.
  • Represent clients in hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.
  • Proactively manage cases and maintain communication with clients.
  • Resolve cases efficiently through negotiations and litigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
  • Experience in workers' compensation (preferred).
  • Strong research, analytical, and negotiating abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and provide exceptional client service.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications:

  • Member, State Bar of California

Skills:
