Job Overview
A law firm seeks a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in litigation of Personal Injury Law, providing high-quality legal services to clients while contributing to the firm's growth and success.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations as necessary.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide insights based on research findings.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting practice areas.
  • Assist clients with various legal matters, ensuring their rights are protected throughout the process.
  • Manage case files efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and organized.

 

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar and in good standing.
  • Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Personal Injury Law and other forms of civil litigation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.

 

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

 

Certifications

  • Admission to the Florida State Bar.
