A law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in personal injury law, be fluent in Spanish, and be admitted to the Florida Bar. Duties:

  • Represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases, including—but not limited to—automobile accidents, slips and falls, and medical malpractice.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on personal injury matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
  • 1-4 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
